We are going out with I Am the Avalanche in late november from Providence down to Georgia...and will follow up our week long tour with them by doing some headline dates on the way back up the east coast from the south..please check our myspace site for dates, times..and updates.

Hello everyone!
Just writing a little something to keep everyone up to date on everything. Lets see......last week we played the Eyeball Records CMJ showcase in New York City. We had a lot of fun, and it was good to see a lot of our old friends that came out and chilled with us. We got a lot of good feedback from the performance--which is always nice to hear. Starting tomorrow we are pretty much just focusing on writing a lot of new material, and we are really excited....we have a lot of parts laying around between all of us--so lets see what happens....
We should also be back out on the road in late November/early December with a band from New York...can't tell ya who yet...but it should be a lot fun. I think it will be about two weeks, and pretty much we will be hitting up the north east portion of the country again. ----but we will see what happens when it is all booked. Personally I would love to get a little more southern in the next few months (ie: baltimore, richmond etc)...may be we will try to set a few dates up.
We got drunk last night, and Lee cut his hair off......it's been like 9 years........kinda ridiculous..ha
Besides that---thanks to everyone who bought the EP online...we really appreciate it........and please help spread the word..we can you all the help we can get...

Hello everyone-
So-Today is the last day of tour. It has been a lot of fun the past two weeks running around the North Eastern United States. We started off playing some some shows in the local Area (philly and Jersey) and made our way up around Mass, New Hampshire, Pittsburgh, Washington DC and finally to our home town of Newark, Delaware. Met a lot of real nice people, drank some beer (ok a lot of beer), spent all of our money, spent a lot of money to get the van actually rolling again before tour. Actually that is a funny story...we blew our transmission out a few days before the tour, and had to get a Uhaul cargo van to do the first show in Jersey. Darby, Pat and Nate sat up front...while Kevin, Lee and myself laid in the back with the equipment....kinda funny......no moving air..etc....anyways----we became real good friends with this band Lannen Fall from the Boston area....really cool guys..and you should check them out if you get the chance. It's always nice to meet nice bands on the road.........and we appreciate everything guys!
Interesting notes from tour-
-We now have a bunny costume that will be coming with us on tour....it's ridiculous....don't ask us where it came from.....stolen may be....shhh..
-Pat gets scared when Darby drives the van.
-We found so much Coors Original beer on the road--my favorite------hell yes
Hmmmmm....what else.....well we got our EP the day we left for tour, and have been selling it........it's mastered and sounds pretty damn good....so--we are proud of it. I believe it should be available on ITunes on the 16th of October. So----PLEASE PRE ORDER!!!!!-----we could use all the support we can get. Thanks to everyone that made it out to the shows, thanks to all of our friends that let us crash their houses and eat their food, and thank you for reading this.
I would also like to take the time to welcome Kevin to the band.....he has been playing with us for a few weeks, but we are too lazy to post anything about it. He is a real good guy, a real old friend and a great guitarist. So thanks kevin for be part of it all.
ALSO---we can't wait for europe in February!

Laying on the floor-
hello everyone!
First off we would like to thank everyone for all of your your kind words/comments.....we really appreciate all of the support...........ok..now that the emo hugs are out of the way...let us continue. What has The Casting Out been up to? ----------besides drinking.
Pretty much since we got back from tour we have been real busy with work, and family...the usual stuff that makes up a life.........BUT-----namely we are going to be releasing a digital /hard copy EP during the month of August (not sure when).......I don't know if I can tell anyone that ...but oh well.......we are doing it...and I can't lie about it now........so screw those in charge who say I can't. I figure you should know.............pretty much just working on getting that ready...... I won't be saying anymore than that................Josh already told everyone at the Philly show anyway--------so I should not be in trouble.
We have also been logging in a lot of time on acoustic guitars and a baby grand piano ---it's way nicer to write in a room that isn't loud as hell...and where ideas can flow in calmer setting......I think we have about 8 songs laying around to work on......everyone is really bringing a lot to the table on the newer material. And we have some real good stuff laying around. -----
Also have some tour announcements eventually............for the fall.

So...welcome everyone to the web blog that we have created. I guess I'll hit everyone up on some current events.....about two weeks ago we had our first tour. Ok--more of a tour-cation....we played new jersey, brooklyn, boston and pittsburgh...and saw a lot of really good friends...and made new ones as usual alnog the way. Namely we just hung out at our friend Alex's house in the Ozark mountains of New York...where he spoiles us with great food, bb guns and chain saws....amazing....we did a lot of work on the business end of the band, and started to get a lot of stuff moving.......we will update as it becomes appropriate...ok..then we came home.....pretty much all went to the beach then came home and played two shows in the local area...wrote some new stuff...and ditched practice yesterday...now i'm tired...goodnight.
